Requested a quote to install wiring from breaker box to patio for ceiling fans and outlet. Pawson Electric came out and produced an estimate that was competitive with others. Work was performed within budget and estimate. They cleaned up after installation of wiring, switches, and outlet. All is functioning perfectly. In addition to their excellent work, they were on time and even called ahead to let us know they were on the way. We will have no problem using them in the future.

We all know "Murphy's Law" . . . "If it can go wrong, it will and at the worst possible moment." If that's your situation, then PLEASE CALL Pawson Electric to take care of your "too hard to do" residential electrical issue/problem. My main electrical box in a 30+ year old home couldn't handle any new additions but that didn't stop Kevin (and his son Taylor). After a thorough review, Kevin had a solution, got the required city permit, came back the next day and did an upgrade sub-panel installation to carry the new circuit. We had a switch that was no in the proper place on the wall. He came out and gave us an estimate on the work that needed to be done, putting in the new switch and fixing the wall where the old one was removed. He came out at exactly the time he told us he would be here. While removing the old switch, he discovered that some extra work would have to be done on the fan as well. He not only put in the new switch but also put one in for the fan and rewired our fan, all at no extra charge from the estimate. He did the work in a timely manner and also cleaned up everything and vacuumed the floor in that area to be sure he left nothing behind. Very satisfied with his work. We also had him back out to ground our electric box and gas meter for a safety precaution. Both times we were very satisfied with his promptness and the completed work.

Received a referral to call Pawson Electric if I was looking for quality and affordability. Called him and explained my needs and told him when I was available. He came to inspect to make sure he brought the right size ladder for the job because part of the work was installing a pendant light where a can light was way up high. Great work. He left everything in prime condition. I am hiring him to complete additional work. He works around your budget and makes sure everything is pure perfection. Very professional and a master electrician at that!

Pawson Electric came out the next day and replaced my outdated smoke alarms. He had brand new top rated alarms with fresh dates in the truck. I showed him a 3 panel switch which was broken and which I assumed to be unique. He had that in the truck too! The job was done quickly, economically and cheerfully. What I thought would drag out for days with shopping trips was done in a few hours. This is a brand new business and I am thinking it will do very well.

Kevin came over to check out a back porch light that was not working. After he inspected it, it was not a connection problem, but the wiring on the lamp had gotten twisted and burned up. Because the light was impossible to replace and it matched the rest of the exterior lighting on my house, Kevin agreed to rebuild the light for me! He brought it back in a couple of days and it was better than new! He charged a fair price and went above and beyond to help me! I will definitely be contacting them the next time I have an electrical need!

Mr. Pawson gave me an estimate of the work needed and came the very next day to complete the work. It was done in a timely and professional manner. My tenants called me this morning telling me that a strong smell of smoke was coming out of an electric socket. This is not good as the rental is a mobile home. I never thought I would ever say this but, Unfortunately I am one of those who fell prey to a misguided contractor. I thought I did all the right things like getting different bids, obtaining references, etc. long story short, Kevin got me out of what could have been a bad situation. It was by chance that I discovered the electrical work done was not up to code. I was on a time frame and needed to have an electrician go over everything that contractor had done. After a couple of bids, I chose Kevin. Now don't let this mug shot fool you. Kevin is professional, courteous, prompt and most importantly, he enjoys his work. Kevin obtained the permit, fixed the problems and his work was approved by
code compliance. A lot of work was done and I was extremely pleased. In fact, I introduced him to my neighbor and he is going to do some work for him. I highly recommend Kevin for any electrical services needed.

I needed to up grade my service meter panel due to out dated wiring and bring it to code. I contacted Pawson Electric and Kevin came out to my home and gave me an estimate and what the time frame I was looking at. I felt very comfortable with him , he is professional and does excellent quality work. I was surprised at how fast and coordinated he and CPS were. It took less than 3 hours to complete from the time he arrived and CPS cut power to my house to completion and CPS connect. Kevin has performed electrical work for me on two separate occasions. He wired dedicated service to a pool heat pump at our prior home and just finished a complete swimming pool wiring upgrade for the pool at our current home. This work comprised of a new 50 amp service to a new subpanel, ensuring proper grounds/bonding and the replacement of damaged junction boxes. In addition, he replaced all flexible conduit and connections to all pool equipment and timer.

Having young kids, I'm glad Mr. Pawson's primary objective is safety. Beyond safety, his work is neat, functional and visually appealing. The job was scheduled promptly, performed in an efficient manner and the job site was cleaned upon completion.

I needed a new timer switch installed for outside lights. I had what I needed but the existing dual gang box was too small for both the new and existing switch. The wiring changes and installing a larger gang box were more complicated and harder than I what I could normally do myself.

After I explained the situation, Kevin finished in about 30 minutes. I am very satisfied with the work and the price I was charged. He is a pleasant and honest person. He doesn't, as happened in the past with other service providers, give dishonest and obviously shady, overpriced estimates for labor and parts to jack up the invoice. I highly recommend Kevin to do electrical work!

Responsive, professional, affordable, and did not try to up sell and pressure me into doing anything more than I asked. Kevin responded to my initial request and came out immediately to work to repair a few outlets that were dead. He gave me an initial estimate and the work was accomplished within (actually below) what was quoted. He recommended a few things to watch and educated me in where some of the potential dangers are for the future, but did not try to sell me anything more than what I asked. Mr. Pawson (and son) were responsive, affordable, professional, on time, and a bit under budget compared to his original quote. We had five outlets installed: 2 in our garage, 1 for holiday lighting, 1 in the attic for security cameras, and 1 on our front porch. Furthermore, we had four switches replaced and rewired to accommodate modern ceiling fans (our house is a little over 30 years old - and the wiring was too complicated for an amateur like me). We needed three new circuit breakers installed (20 Amp) to handle the load. All was accomplished a couple hours ahead of schedule and, as I've previously said, under his original quote - which was several hundred dollars less than some of the larger electrical companies (here in San Antonio.) Our experience was very positive. It's been well over a month now and we've had zero problems. Pawson does give a discount for military (I'm retired military) and for first responders, too. We had a very positive experience and I'd recommend that you speak to Mr. Pawson before you hire someone else.
